Our mission

At Gaelborn our mission is simple. We create handcrafted candles inspired by Irish landscape, history, and myth, designed to bring comfort and quiet luxury into everyday spaces.

Made where legends once walked.

All our candles are made by hand in our studio on the edge of the Bog of Allen, in the heart of Ireland, and a former stronghold of the legendary Fianna warrior tribe. Each candle is made using just three ingredients: 100% natural plant wax, cotton-paper wicks, and premium fragrance oils. After pouring, every candle is cured for two weeks to ensure burn quality and a consistent scent throw before being shipped to you.

Candles with a story.

Each of our candles comes with a story card, connecting the fragrance to the tale that inspired it. A small piece of Irish history captured in scent. Passing these legends carried through generations on to you. Each fragrance is created to evoke a sense of place and memory. The story card invites you to slow down, light the candle, and step for a moment into the world that inspired it.

We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.

Gaelborn is committed to thoughtful, responsible making. Our candles are poured using a vegetable-based coconut and rapeseed wax blend, selected for its clean burn and renewable origin. Packaging is intentionally minimal and recyclable wherever possible, while materials are sourced within the island of Ireland the EU to support transparent supply chains and reduce transport impact.
