The story of the hallowed cloak

Brigid sought land from the King of Leinster to establish a monastery at Kildare. asking for only as much land as her linen cloak could cover. The king agreed, believing the request harmless.But when Brigid's cloak was laid upon the ground, it grew across a vast area of land, allowing her to establish her monastery.The Hallowed Cloak takes its inspiration from this famous Irish tale, a story of faith, and the founding of one of Ireland's most important religious sites.
